Milena at Space for the launch of Space Nation.

Another slow Friday, so I only did Space this weekend. Can anyone recommend a decent Friday party? Gryphon is excellent but it’s a drive. Something close to home would be great for variety.

Anyways, as you guys know, Space’s neighbors had a bit of a ruckus this past weekend. So, it got a little hairy for a bit since Space went into lockdown. No one in, exit only through the back door. Even though the cops cordoned off 11th Street, patrons were allowed entrance to Space after 5 AM and the police deemed the area safe for commerce. 11th Street remained closed off for the day since the battle next door proceeded into the street and CSI needed to process the area. My car was within the incident area. It was quite surreal to have to cross a police line at noon to get my vehicle. 

But the party went on at Space. I’m always amazed at how resilient the joint is. Anyways, click on through to see the take…
